MrBeast reveals whopping sum he spends on security each month

MrBeast has just opened up about the amount of money he spends each month on security as the biggest YouTuber in the world.

To some, the life of a popular content creator may look like a dream come true. At a glance, you’d get to travel all around the world, meet famous people, earn a lot of money, and so much more compared to being confined in one place.

Though that’s true to an extent, especially with the case of someone as famous as MrBeast, the grass isn’t always greener on the other side.

When you’ve got all eyes on you, not to mention hosting competitions with millions of dollars on the line, a lot of unexpected and risky things can happen. Hence, he has security with him to keep him safe. Speaking of which, the YouTube superstar has just revealed how much he spends every month on exactly that.

During a Kick stream with Adin Ross and xQc, in which the trio were raising money for charity, MrBeast briefly touched on the topic of security.

“We have money on set. We have lots of security. You would be surprised to see the amount of money I spend a year on security,” he said, before mentioning “millions.”

He added, “Some months, I spend over a million dollars. We don’t f*** around.” Still on the same topic, Adin Ross chimed in to reveal the amount he pays, which is “100K a month.”

Out of all three, xQc was the only one who kept quiet and refused to share specific details. Though he also alluded to spending six figures on a ‘multi-layered’ security system.

Back in 2023, MrBeast spoke up about the downside of having viral fame, mentioning the pressures he feels as a content creator and the struggles of essentially going outside.

In particular, the 27-year-old said he couldn’t be in large crowds or engage in casual public activities without fans filming and keeping tabs on him.

At one point, he even said that holding large sums of money led to break-ins at his house. Considering all that, it’s understandable that he has to prioritize his safety.
