MrBeast is spending millions extending his mom’s life so she can help raise his kids

YouTube star MrBeast admitted that he’s spending millions of dollars on “high-end” health care with some of the best doctors in the world to help extend his mother’s life.

Outside of his sprawling YouTube empire, Jimmy ‘MrBeast‘ Donaldson is also known for his wealth, often giving away thousands of dollars and spending millions on videos testing out luxury experiences vs cheaper options.

While he’s admitted that he generally loses money on his YouTube content, he makes his earnings through other ventures like his chocolate bar company, Feastables, and other brand deals — though he tends to describe himself as “broke,” admitting he tends to borrow cash from his mother.

However, it seems that he’s spending what money he does have on his mom, something he opened up about during a live stream with fellow internet stars Adin Ross and xQc.

MrBeast teamed up with the two streamers to raise money for TeamWater, his latest charitable initiative that aims to raise $40 million to provide communities across the globe with fresh drinking water.

In the stream, he revealed that his mom was initially hesitant about his YouTube career — but now that he’s so successful, she’s more than happy to reap the benefits of his achievements, which includes some of the best health care in the world.

“She’s great. She’s very happy,” Donaldson said. “She’s livin’ the life. One day, I wanna have a lot of kids, and my mom’s pretty old, so we’re doing a lot of high-end health stuff with her to extend her health and lifespan, and having her routinely meet with some of the best doctors in the world.

“They check all her measurements, all her vitals. When I have kids, I want her to be able to play with them. I want her to be alive. The thought of having to raise kids without my mom helping me sounds f**king miserable.”

“It’s everything. Oh, you’re stressed? Stop doing whatever’s making you stressed. I have her on protocol so she can help babysit my kids.”

Responses to Donaldson’s remarks have been largely mixed. Some viewers are applauding his selfless spending, while others are raising eyebrows at him conscripting his mother’s help in raising his future family amidst his hectic schedule.

“That’s the best gift you can give to your parents, wife and kids. They know you’re not going to live alone and someone will take care of you,” one wrote.

“Basically Jimmy said that he is extending his mom’s life so she can work for him more on raising his own kids, LOL,” another remarked.

“Like, I get what he meant that he wants his mom around. Who doesn’t? But he also made it seem like he couldn’t be a dad without her here, lol,” another pointed out.

While MrBeast hasn’t opened up on when he intends to start his family, he proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Thea Booysen, on New Year’s Day 2025.

Currently, the couple is planning their wedding — something he’s had to ask his mom for help funding, as he admits he isn’t very liquid, often reinvesting his cash in his YouTube projects or Amazon Prime series.
