David Dobrik under fire after personal assistant “babysits” him in viral TikTok

YouTube star David Dobrik is facing backlash after his assistant created a TikTok video catering to his needs — and some commenters are saying she’s “like his babysitter.”

David Dobrik is one of the internet’s biggest superstars, best known for his chaotic, high-energy vlogs featuring celebrities like Howie Mandel, Justin Bieber, and more.

He was absent from social media for around three years, but made his long-awaited comeback in late 2024 — but not everyone’s a fan of his new content.

For example, Dobrik posted – and now deleted – a video to his TikTok account on March 31 created by his personal assistant, which followed her through a regular day taking care of her internet-famous boss’s needs.

In the video, she started her day by going to the grocery store, where she purchased ingredients to make Dobrik’s lunch. She claimed that Dobrik had flown her out to Chicago to learn his mother’s recipes, calling herself a “pro” at recreating them “after a couple of years.”

After this, she hired a barber to give him a haircut, which was done while the YouTuber was playing an intense game of Wii Tennis.

Then, she flew to Las Vegas to prepare his hotel room, where he was staying for the bachelor party of one of his close friends. She stocked his refrigerator full of Hot Pockets, Gatorade and pizza rolls, and even decorated the suite with photos of himself, a framed comic book and even Suave kids’ shampoo.

Commenters were left baffled by the video, with some refusing to believe it wasn’t “rage bait” to incite conversation online.

“She’s like his babysitter,” one remarked.

“I refuse to believe this is real,” another said.

“I can’t believe she does all of this, it’s like taking care of a child,” another wrote.

The video has since been removed, but a previous post from March 19 shows his assistant performing similar tasks.

This is the latest stunt from Dobrik to go viral after he returned to the internet with a jaw-dropping body transformation that left netizens wondering whether or not his muscles were actually photoshopped.
