How to unlock Donkey Kong

Donkey Kong is unlocked by completing the Mushroom Cup in the Grand Prix mode. You don’t need a podium finish to unlock him, just complete the Grand Prix Cup.

Donkey Kong’s best kart is undoubtedly the Buggybud. It prioritizes Acceleration while still having a pretty even spread for the rest of its distribution across Speed, Weight, and Handling.

If you’re looking for something that can handle pretty much any type of track that you throw at it, you’ll be in a good spot with the Buggybud when playing as Donkey Kong.
