A mixture of both Bikes and Karts, ATVs provide some of the best Handling and Speed of any vehicle in Mario Kart World. Due to their size and weight, however, ATVs have poor Acceleration, making recovery from any stoppage difficult.

There are seven ATVs in Mario Kart World, all of which can be driven by any character. Depending on which character and kart build you choose results in a different stat spread, meaning that some characters are better choices across the board than others.

What’s the best ATV in Mario Kart World?
Right now, the best ATV is Funky Dorrie when basing it purely on their stats spread of Acceleration, Speed, Weight, and Handling stat spread (in that order).
However, what character you decide to combo your kart with has a big impact on how each ATV’s stat distribution looks, too. This means that the Junkyard Hog and Lobster Roller are also top-tier choices, particularly if you’re rolling a character’s stats spread that puts them in a Feather or Medium weight class.
