Black Ops 7 Zombies brings the mode back to its roots thanks to the return of a crew that long-time fans will instantly recognize.

TreyarchThe latest Zombies mode features eight playable characters, including the four from Black Ops 6 and the original crew from the very first map in World at War. However, these aren’t the Ultimis (WoW and BO) or Primis (BO2 and BO3) versions of the characters, but a brand-new third iteration of the team.
It seems Call of Duty is stepping further into the multiverse with this being an “alternate incarnation of the original Zombies crew” that the Black Ops 6 crew meet inside the Dark Aether. These characters have no idea who the others are, or how they got here.”
This marks the first time that the OG crew has been fully playable in Zombies since BO4 – although Richtofen, albeit a different version of the character, played a key role in the story towards the end of BO6 despite not being an Operator himself.
All of the crew members listed above can be mixed and matched, so you can team Dempsey and Nikiolai up with Maya and Carver if you want to. No matter which combination you choose, there will be unique dialogue and interaction between the characters.
