New Combat Specialties explained
Black Ops 6’s Combat Specialty feature returns in Black Ops 7, adding three new powerful abilities when you use specific Perk combinations in your loadout.
Instead of these Combat Specialties replacing Enforcer, Recon, and Strategist, they’re being added alongside those from BO6 – making six in total.
While the previous ones were tailored to specific playstyles, BO7’s are a hybrid of different playstyles, e.g., offensive and support.
Every new BO7 Combat Specialty
Combat Speciality | Bonus |

Overwatch | When you get an assist, you'll earn bonus score from bullet kills for 10 seconds. |
Scout | Hidden from the mini map and compass after bullet kills. |
Captain | Field Upgrades will charge from stealth kills. |
How to get Hybrid Combat Specialties
Instead of matching three of the same Perk colors, you equip Black Ops 7’s new Combat Specialties by mixing and matching different colors. The new game also brings new Perks, so you’ll get even more control over your loadout and playstyle.
It’s not clear what combinations you need to make to unlock the new Specialties above, but we’ll update you when we know more.
