How to play the beta
As is tradition, you can play Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 early through the beta. This lets you try out a selection of weapons, maps, and modes ahead of the official launch, and earn some free rewards while doing so.
Black Ops 7 beta dates
The Black Ops 7 beta runs from Thursday, October 2, until Wednesday, October 8. Those with early access can play on October 2, while everyone else will get access on October 5.
The betas all start and end at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM BST.
While the devs have run them across two weekends in the past, this year, it’ll just be one six-day-long session.

How to get early access
You can play the beta early on October 2 by pre-ordering the game or having Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or Game Pass for PC.
What to expect
The Black Ops 7 beta will let you try out multiplayer, featuring a handful of maps, weapons, and Operators.
Last year, the beta featured eight of the 16 multiplayer maps alongside several weapons, Perks, Equipment, and Scorestreaks, and we expect Black Ops 7’s beta to be much the same.
Rewards
We don’t know what the rewards are yet, but Black Ops 6 offered Emblems, Charms, Emotes, Loading Screens, Operator Skins, and a Weapon Blueprint for reaching max level in the beta.
We expect a similar system for Black Ops 7, but we’ll need to wait until closer to the time to know more.
