Global progression system explained
For the first time in Call of Duty, Black Ops 7 has a global progression system, meaning that no matter which mode you play, you’ll be earning XP.
How does global progression work?
Global Progression means that no matter whether you’re playing multiplayer, Zombies, or the campaign, you’ll be earning XP and increasing your player level, progressing through the Battle Pass, and earning camos and other rewards.
Zombies and multiplayer have shared progression since 2020’s Black Ops Cold War, but the campaign has never been included. That all changes thanks to BO7’s co-op campaign, where you’ll be able to team up with your friends and beat it together.

However, what will keep you coming back is the Endgame mode. This is similar to MW2’s DMZ, but it’s purely PVE, where you’ll drop into the Avalon map to complete missions, level up your Operator, and get new gear.
It’s said to be highly replayable, so you don’t need to worry about falling behind on the Battle Pass when playing.
Also, for the first time, you’ll be able to unlock weapon camos in the campaign, making it Call of Duty with the most Mastery Camos so far.
