Call of Duty: Black Ops 7

Endgame explained

black ops 7 players in co-op campaign

When you finish Black Ops 7‘s Campaign, your time in Avalon doesn’t end. A new feature this year is the new “Endgame” mode, which unlocks at the conclusion of the story.

What is Endgame?

An endless, replayable session of 1-32 players, you will enter a brand-new PVE (Player vs. Environment) mode that opens up the fictional setting of Avalon in its entirety. That means you won’t be fighting other players like in Multiplayer, but taking on NPCs much more like MW2’s DMZ mode.

You’ll deploy with a wingsuit so you can explore the landscape, where you and your squad are tasked with shutting down Guild activities across the region, before escaping with any loot and intel you can find. Be careful, though, because if your squad goes down, it’s back to square one.

Operator Combat Rating

Once you’ve reached Endgame, you will be able to play as any unlocked Operator in Black Ops 7, where you’ll also be introduced to the C.O.M.B.A.T. Operating System. Each Operator you take into Avalon has their own Combat Rating, which you can progress by completing activities, assignments, and by defeating enemies.

Ranking up will allow you to choose new Skills and Power Upgrades that increase your Combat Rating. These can improve your health, give you extra armor, improve your mobility, or increase your damage output. On top of that, you can also equip two Abilities which give you extra-special talents, like leaping several stories or warping to new locations.

Endgame Loadouts

Campaign Loadouts become available once you’ve unlocked Endgame, allowing you to bring abilities you earned in the Co-Op Campaign to Avalon, along with the Primary and Secondary Weapons of your choice.
