Best Assault class setup
Battlefield 6’s Assault class is an all-rounder, perfect for players who want to be at the front line and shoot things.
With high mobility, faster health regeneration, and the ability to carry two primary weapons, it’s the best class for aggressive players who want to get in the enemies’ faces and deal serious damage.
Best Assault weapons & gadgets in BF6

Primary Weapon: NVO-228E (Assault Rifle)
The NVO-228E is the strongest Assault Rifle in the Battlefield 6 Beta for its best-in-class damage. Thus, it’s a no-brainer for the Assault class that specializes in AR use.
This particular weapon is excellent at mid-to-long range but won’t leave you defenseless in close-range fights either. It’s a fantastic all-rounder that packs a punch for rapid eliminations.
Secondary Weapon: P18 (Sidearm)
We’re limited for Secondary options in the Beta, so there’s nothing else to pick beyond the P18 Sidearm. It can help in a tough spot when your primary weapon runs dry, but don’t expect wonders from this fairly standard pistol.
Gadget 1: M87A1 (Shotgun)
When it comes to the Assault class, one of your Gadgets can be another primary weapon. We highly recommend the M87A1 Shotgun to keep all bases covered. It’s extremely powerful in the Beta, especially with many high-ranking players calling for nerfs already.
Gadget 2: High Explosive Launcher
With another primary weapon equipped, the second gadget slot is taken up by the High Explosive Launcher. It’s effectively a weak grenade launcher that can be used to damage terrain. Don’t use this against tanks or helicopters; it’s incredibly ineffective against vehicles. But to break down the odd wall here or there, it can certainly be handy.
Throwable – Fragmentation Grenade
We’ve gone with the standard Frag Grenade to round out the optimal Assault class, just to bring even more firepower into every respawn. Frags can not only explode enemy cover, but of course, deal lethal damage too, making it a great pick for an aggressive playstyle.
