Paper Rex wins their first VCT title at Masters Toronto: Full schedule and recap

VCT Masters trophy

Valorant Masters Toronto has concluded, and Paper Rex have, against all odds, taken their very first international title after a decisive 3-1 Grand Final win against Fnatic.

It’s the second big international event of 2025 for Valorant, pitting the world’s best teams against each other. And, with T1 already being eliminated from contention before even making it to Toronto after having just won in Bangkok earlier this year, a new team was guaranteed to lift the trophy.

With Paper Rex’s win at this event, it’s the very first international title for not only the organization, but for every single player on the team.

Valorant Masters Toronto 2025 schedule

Valorant Masters Toronto will run from June 7 to June 22, pitting all qualifying teams against each other through multiple stages of competition.

There were a few teams who qualified directly into the Playoffs, skipping the Swiss Stage and saving themselves having to run the gauntlet: G2, XLG, Rex Regum, and Fnatic.

The rest, however, had to start from the bottom and work their way up.

Team Wolves at Valorant Master Toronto

Team Wolves had the greatest miracle run of the event, taking out a ton of top-tier teams before ultimately falling to Fnatic in the Lower Bracket Final. It was a valiant effort from China’s #3 seeded team, but their miracle run was over just before the finish line.
