Kai Cenat Twitch channel hacked by hacker who has targeted him before

Streaming superstar Kai Cenat has had his Twitch and YouTube accounts hacked by the same hacker who got into his TikTok profile.

Time and time again, social media stars have had their pages targeted by hackers who want to use their platform to either embarrass them or start promoting some sort of cryptocurrency scam.

Well, on April 3, Kai Cenat was targeted by a hacker who was upset that the AMP Star had seemingly gotten their Discord server removed. “Got my discord suspended Mr. Cenat, this is what you get,” the hacker commented on Kai’s Twitch profile as they overhauled the look of his channel.

Kai’s profile photo and channel header have been changed to the hacker’s branding – with his photo now reading SAVA instead of the usual photo of himself. The header also has links to the hacker’s pages, including a new Discord server, and Kai’s phone number.

Some noted that Kai’s channel had been banned as a result of the hack. However, Dexerto has been able to access it without being greeted with the usual ‘this channel is suspended’ message.

Yet, there are no videos from his previous streams, no clips, and none of his usual social media links either. These may have been removed by the hacker or taken down in amongst the supposed ban.

Later on April 3, Kai responded to the hack in a stream on his friend’s channel, where he seemed largely unbothered by the ordeal.

“Am I supposed to cry?” Kai shouted, laughing. “That’s life! … that sh*t’s all gonna come back in the morning.”

He then encouraged his fellow influencers not to “show attention to it,” hoping that by ignoring the hacker, they wouldn’t get the satisfaction of getting a big reaction out of him.

The streaming star has had a run-in with this particular hacker previously. They managed to get into his TikTok account back at the end of February during his Batman streamathon. That profile was returned to its original state within a few hours.

When it comes to his Twitch account, the Amazon-owned platform will likely work around the clock to return it to its previous state before they hand the keys back to Kai.
