Twitch star Kai Cenat facetimed fellow streamer Deshae Frost, urging the influencer to push pause on his “girl content” after he was banned following a controversial ‘prank’ broadcast.
On February 19, 2025, actor and streamer Deshae Frost was banned from Twitch after netizens sounded off on a ‘prank’ he pulled on a woman in Target.
The ‘prank’ was to get as many people’s numbers as possible — but Frost’s tactics sparked backlash due to the manner in which he spoke to the woman, causing viewers to label the practical joke as “sexual harassment.”
This exact verbiage was echoed by the woman’s brother, who confronted Frost in a calm, but tense, discussion to warn him against pulling these kinds of pranks in the future.
He wasn’t the only one to warn Frost about his behavior. Twitch’s most popular streamer, Kai Cenat, also phoned the actor to give him advice on his content and the way he might be perceived if he persists in this avenue.
Kai Cenat urges banned Twitch streamer Deshae Frost to stop “girl content”
Frost streamed the call during a broadcast on February 20, in which Kai told him the “girl content” he makes is causing him to gain a negative reputation.
“You think that ‘girl content’ always gotta be a thing,” Kai said. “You feel me? No cap, from that clip alone, whether it was a prank or not, if I’m being honest, from an outside perspective and somebody to be able to tell you what’s real, that sh*t is crazy.
“…Here’s my theory on it, right? People already put you in a narrative of thinking that you be doing sh*t with b*tches, and be getting sexual and sh*t. So when they see you with a girl, they’re gonna put you in that narrative.
“If you wanna keep doing that girl content, if that’s what you want Deshae to be known for, that’s what you’re gonna be known for. But bro, that sh*t with b*tches and the girl content don’t gotta be done, bro. All that sh*t is not necessary.”
Deshae Frost apologizes after Target prank sparks backlash
In his comeback stream on February 20, Frost publicly apologized to the woman he’d approached in Target, as well as her brother, saying he shouldn’t have said what he did in his stream.
“I’m deeply sorry for how that went about and even me just saying that,” he said. “I definitely shouldn’t have said that to you, especially with you being on the phone with your mom.
“Sometimes pranks can be taken too far. I didn’t think much of it, I was just a little lit, just trying to do sh*t for the stream. …some people don’t got time for games, and I respect that.”

As of February 21, Deshae has been unbanned on Twitch, and his YouTube video of the viral encounter remains available on his channel — although some viewers have urged him to remove it.
