Twitch star FaZe Lacy enlisted the help of police after a pair of quick-footed thieves snatched his phone in the middle of his broadcast while visiting Paris, France.

FaZe Lacy is one of several American Twitch streamers traveling abroad this spring — but instead of Japan, Lacy took his broadcasts to Europe.

In March 2025, Lacy hopped across the pond to attend the Sidemen Charity Football match, which he ‘crashed’ for one of his videos on YouTube.

He then went to Paris, France as part of his trip, where he streamed himself giving a motivational speech in front of the Eiffel Tower at night.

Midway into his rousing dialogue, someone ran up to him and grabbed the camera from Lacy’s cameraman, quickly fleeing the scene alongside another person.

The broadcast ended shortly thereafter, showing two sets of feet while Lacy shouted in the background in an attempt to get their attention.

FaZe Clan reposted a clip of the incident to their official X account with the humorous caption, ‘Which one of you just robbed Lacy?”

In response, Lacy posted a photo of two police officers, having seemingly gotten law enforcement involved in the theft.

Thus far, Lacy hasn’t posted anything further about the incident, but he’s far from the only streamer to have their camera or phone stolen while traveling abroad.

In fact, similar instances have happened multiple times over the years. In 2023, popular Twitch streamer Jinny was shocked after her phone was stolen by a speeding motorcyclist for all her fans to see — and while she didn’t retrieve the phone, she was able to reset it to factory settings remotely to protect her data.

This isn’t even the first time Lacy has been robbed. In 2024, Lacy called fellow FaZe member Stableronaldo during one of his live streams to tell him that two masked men had taken his wallet in a moment that left him “shaking.”
