YouTube: Extra Emily VOD ArchiveTwitch streamer ExtraEmily got burned after a stream at a shooting range took a dangerous turn in another gun-related broadcast that’s sparked concern from viewers.
ExtraEmily is a popular streamer on Twitch, where she’s garnered over 460K followers who tune in for her bubbly personality and the humorous hijinks she gets into during her broadcasts.
On March 21, 2025, Emily visited a shooting range in Austin, Texas with fellow streamer Katchii for a live stream when Emily received a minor injury during the activity that left some viewers concerned.
Bullet casing burns ExtraEmily during shooting range stream
During the stream, Emily was shooting a pistol when a casing flew out of the chamber directly into the front of the streamer’s dress, causing her to immediately cry out in pain.
Luckily, she was able to shake the casing out of her clothes, which burnt the streamer due to how hot it was after being discharged from the gun.

“Aw, I should’ve… Silly me,” the streamer said, quickly picking up where she left off.
Before getting back to her session, the attending instructor asked if she was alright, to which Emily responded that she was “totally fine” and that she just “wanted to get it out” of her dress.
The rest of their trip to the range went without incident, but some commenters were concerned about Emily’s safety and her choice of clothing for such an activity. Many ranges suggest wearing concealing clothing in the event of just such an incident that resulted in Emily getting burned.
However, others noted that it’s possible to get burnt by a bullet casing even wearing appropriate attire, such as Emily’s instructor, who wore long pants and a button-up polo.
This isn’t the first time Emily’s experience with a firearm has sparked a big reaction online; in January 2025, the streamer faced backlash after pretending to fire Mizkif’s pistol at him without knowing if the weapon was loaded or not.
This also isn’t the first time she’s been injured on stream; in October 2024, Emily fell off of a mechanical bull at LA Comic Con and hit her chin on its nose, drawing blood in an incident that left chat worried for the streamer.
