ExtraEmily gets second Twitch ban after streaming herself running red light while driving

ExtraEmily was banned on Twitch on April 13, the second time the primarily IRL streamer has had access to her account revoked.
The reasons for the ban are currently unknown, but it comes less than 24 hours after the Twitch star could be seen driving straight through a set of red lights in Austin, Texas, during her own April 12 IRL stream.
During the broadcast, Emily flipped the viewpoint of her windscreen-mounted camera to show the road, where, moments later, she crossed a set of red lights at an intersection.
Acknowledging she ran a red light to her viewers after coming to a stop, she said:
“That happens all the time. In Austin, you know, the stoplights here are really long so usually I just go past. It’s fine It’s fine, people do that.”
ExtraEmily banned on Twitch for second time
ExtraEmily’s Twitch ban is confirmed to be only a day long, with her planning to return to streaming right after the weekend she got barred from the platform.
On October 13, 2023, Emily was banned on Twitch for 18 hours. She confirmed five days later that she had received the timeout as a consequence of being on her phone while driving. Following that incident, she said:
“I completely understand why I was banned because I was looking at my phone while driving and from that ban, I have learned from my mistake and I’m going to make sure I grow from it and not look at my phone ever again while streaming.”
Almost 2 years later, she’s been banned for looking at her phone while driving and driving a red light. She has vowed to “improve from this mishap” and keep going with her streaming career.
