Deshae Frost banned on Twitch after “sexually harassing” woman in store

Actor and streamer Deshae Frost has been banned from Twitch after aggressively flirting with a woman at Target, sparking a tense confrontation with her brother and prompting backlash from viewers.

Deshae Frost is a popular online figure, boasting over three million subscribers on YouTube and over two million followers on Instagram.

Aside from his content, Frost is also known for his role as Darryl on CBS’s cop drama series S.W.A.T. — but it looks like his acting may have gotten him in trouble.

On February 19, Frost was broadcasting on Twitch at a Target, where he tasked himself with “getting strangers’ numbers” to entertain his viewers.

However, his methods sparked backlash among netizens after he approached a woman at the store, making aggressively sexual comments toward her that some labeled as “harassment.”

“I’m not gonna lie, b*tch, you look good as f**k, on some real sh*t,” the streamer said. “Can I get your number and sh*t, we could get some food?”

Their interaction wasn’t a lengthy one, as the woman quickly turned him down and walked away — but it wasn’t long before Frost got confronted by a man claiming to be her brother.

The man calmly approached Frost and detailed his sister’s side of the conversation, which he called “sexual harassment.”

“I don’t care brother, that’s disrespectful,” he said. “You can’t be pranking people like that. Some people don’t take that sh*t. …She was in front of my mom.”

Frost and a friend who was accompanying him plead their case, explaining that they were filming a prank video — but the brother wasn’t having it, saying he wasn’t after an apology, but wanted to educate the streamer on his behavior.

“The streaming sh*t, that’s cool, but some people don’t take that sh*t at all,” the man said. “You just gotta watch what you say.”

Eventually, the two made peace and the man walked away — but netizens weren’t happy with how Frost and his friend handled the situation, with one writing on YouTube: “You should really delete the sister part. Very disgusting to speak to a woman like that… Y’all are both very nasty, the brother was a lot nicer than most would be.”

“Everybody ain’t playing just cause you playing. I respect bro for addressing it,” another said.

Frost’s actions seem to have caught Twitch’s attention, as his channel was banned on February 20.

Users who navigate to his profile are met with a message reading: “This channel is temporarily unavailable due to a violation of Twitch’s Community Guidelines or Terms of Service.”

Thus far, Frost has yet to comment on his ban, but reposted a screenshot of a tweet with the news on his Instagram stories that same day.
