Amouranth has released surveillance footage of masked gunmen attempting to rob her at her residence, after being pulled out of bed and “pistol-whipped.”

On March 2, 2025, Amouranth shared in a post on X that she was being robbed at gunpoint inside of her home.

“I’m being robbed at gunpoint,” she wrote, adding, “I believe I shot one of them. They wanted crypto is what they were yelling. They pulled me out of bed… they pistol-whipped me, but I got one.”

The 31-year-old streamer also shared a video of police cars outside her gated home and reassured fans that she was safe.

In a follow-up post hours later, Amouranth released footage of the masked gunmen and them fleeing.

“3 gun men. He screams ‘I got shot I got shot’ after I’m not supposed to post the scene itself, nor the casing which are now evidence,” she said in a post.

“They beat me before this video and pistol-whipped me. The pummeling felt like it would never end. I protected my head by putting my arms up like I learned how to do in boxing.

“Blood was streaming down my head and my hands were beat brown. They brought duct tape and masks and were armed with handguns.”

In the video, you can see Amouranth leading the three men into her streaming room, which is a separate building across from her main house.

“It’s in here, It’s in here,” she said, presumably talking about her physical crypto wallets. Once inside, however, she grabbed a gun and shot at the gunmen who then quickly ran away from the home.

According to a police spokesperson, it was in fact Amouranth’s husband who fired the shots at the attackers.

In the replies to her post, one user recommended that she take some time away from the internet.

“Truth be told I don’t know if I’ll ever be back,” she replied.

Houston police searching for robbers

“If you have any information related to this aggravated robbery/home invasion, contact the Houston Police Robbery Division or Crime Stoppers of Houston,” said the Houston Police Officer’s Union in a post on X.

This incident took place the same night Twitch streamers Cinna, Valkyrae, and Emiru were attacked by a stream sniper – leading to them canceling their ongoing marathon.
