Young Sheldon Season 7 finally gets US Netflix release date and it’s soon

Missy and Mary look at a card while George enters the door and Sheldon looks on in Young Sheldon

I’m sure you’ve all wanted to relive George’s death as much as I have (not). And now you can! We’ve finally got a release date for Young Sheldon Season 7 being added to US Netflix.

Sure, we’ve had Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage to tide us over for the year last, but it’s not really the same as Young Sheldon, is it? The Cooper family’s glory days are behind them, and fans are still grieving.

For seven years, Sheldon‘s childhood gave us some of the best moments in The Big Bang Theory universe, from Meemaw getting Sheldon out of school to play video games to George taking Missy to Red Lobster.

Season 7 rounded things off with Sheldon’s journey to Caltech and… well, you know what. Now, the final installment is being added to Netflix nearly a year later – here’s when you can catch it.

Young Sheldon Season 7 drops on US Netflix in April 2025

Mark April 15, 2025 in your calendars – Young Sheldon Season 7 will join Seasons 1-6 to finally complete your full show binge.

Mary in Young Sheldon

Even without George’s death, Season 7 covered a lot of leftover lore. We finally learned it was Mary George supposedly had an affair with, having worn a blonde wig and dirndl to surprise him. In short, this means Sheldon’s adult recollection of what he saw – and the kind of man George actually was – was completely wrong.

Georgie and Mandy also got married in Episode 7, setting them up for their own spinoff (unbeknownst to us at the time). We’re still not too sure how Georgie’s ‘first’ marriage ends, being single with a string of ex-wives by the time he reunites with Sheldon in TBBT Season 11.

How to watch in international territories

Given this date is for US Netflix only, we don’t have official news about when Young Sheldon Season 7 will arrive on Netflix internationally. However, you can watch Season from April using a VPN.

Once you have one, just change your location to the right country, sign up for whichever streaming service you prefer, and start streaming.

If you’re interested in signing up for Netflix, its cheapest plan is $7.99 per month, but you’ll need to put up with ads. If you go up one level and get rid of ads, it costs $17.99 per month, or the Premium package costs $24.99 per month. Annoyingly, there are no free trials.
