He’s been pretty busy in Invincible as Allen the Alien, but that doesn’t mean he can’t make time to be on screen in human form. A real passion project moment, if you will.
Rogan’s giving us The Studio, which is already making waves in its first few days of being released. Here’s exactly why you need to binge it like it’s going out of fashion.
The Studio is Apple TV+’s latest sensation
If you’ve been on social media at all over the last 24 hours, you’ll likely have seen Apple TV’s The Studio plastered all over it. It’s already got a Rotten Tomatoes score of 98%, and it’s not even been out a full day.
What’s more, the critical reviews are an absolute slam dunk. The Guardian described the new TV show as “fast, furious and beautifully fun,” with Time Magazine hailing it as the “first must-see TV show of 2025.”
The Hollywood Reporter said it’s “So hilarious it hurts,” and fans are already “in tears” watching the first few episodes.
“THE STUDIO feels like Curb Your Enthusiasm on cocaine,” one fan explains. “It’s hilariously smart and self-aware, but way sexier and stylish. Another Apple show with killer cinematography and production design. I’m hooked.”

What’s it about?
As you might have guessed from the name, The Studio follows Matt Remick, the newly appointed head of Continental Studios. He’s got big creative ambitions, and the studio has to juggle a lot to keep up with them.

As someone who eats, sleeps, and breathes movies, it’s the job Matt’s been pursuing his whole life, and it may very well destroy him.”
In terms of humor, think Veep and Arrested Development levels of straight-talking vibes. Nothing and nobody is off-limits, with the one-liners coming in thick and fast.
