Invincible Season 3 Episode 7 has left fans’ jaws on the floor – and its final scene set up one of the most terrifying and violent fights in the comic, which you can read right now.
There have been some amazing fights in Invincible: Battle Beast nearly killing Mark, Mark facing off against Omni-Man, and Mark pummeling Angstrom Levy after he flung him through the multiverse in Season 2.
Season 3 hasn’t pulled its punches either, bringing some of the comic’s best moments to life, whether it’s Allen and Nolan teaming up to break out of the Viltrumite prison or Powerplex’s devastating mistake in Episode 6.
Episode 7 is in another league. As Robert Kirkman promised, it’s one of the “biggest” episodes they’ve ever done – and it’s about to get even crazier.
Invincible Issue 61 is the start of Conquest’s fight

If you want to spoil it for yourself – and I wouldn’t blame you – the Conquest fight starts on Issue #61 in the Invincible comics.
My advice: start with Issue #60, which chronicles the Invincible War with a couple of small differences (for example, Spawn shows up to fight a Mark variant). The event leads into #61, ending with Conquest dropping in and telling Mark: “Stand ready for my arrival, worm.”

It expands the dialogue from Episode 7, with Mark telling Conquest: “Maybe you do not understand. I have caused all the destruction you see around you. The lives lost are the direct result of my actions. I can’t describe the guilt, shame, and most importantly anger that I feel right now.
“All I have thought about, the only thing I’ve wanted since all of this happened, was to hit something as hard as I can.”
And so the fight begins, and it doesn’t end until Issue #64. I won’t spoil what happens, but it is easily the most gruesome and emotional fight in the story (up to this point), and Conquest establishes himself as one of the strongest characters in all of Invincible.
Make sure you know when Episode 8 drops with our Invincible Season 3 release time & schedule guide and keep tabs on the show’s soundtrack. Until then, find out why Mark’s blue suit is so important, what happens to Powerplex, and if you want to look further ahead, you can read the Invincible comics for free.
We also spoke to Robert Kirkman, who explained why Spawn couldn’t appear in the Invincible War and why there may not be a Rex Splode special anytime soon.
