The Man Without Fear returns to the MCU tonight on Disney Plus, but if you want to watch Daredevil: Born Again for free, there’s only one way – and you may not be eligible.
In 2018, one of the best Marvel TV shows was canceled: Netflix’s Daredevil, alongside the other Defenders series. Almost seven years later, after a long list of cameos, Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk are finally about to collide again.
The new series picks up a few years after the events of Season 3. According to the official synopsis, it’ll follow Matt as he “fights for justice through his bustling law firm, while former mob boss Wilson Fisk pursues his own political endeavors in New York.”
Daredevil: Born Again will be exclusively available on Disney Plus – and for certain people, you may be able to watch it without paying anything extra.
How to watch Daredevil: Born Again for free
If you want to watch Daredevil: Born Again for free, you’ll need an eligible Unlimited plan with Verizon.
As its website explains, “for a limited time, if you have an eligible Unlimited plan, you can get Disney+ Premium (No Ads), the on-demand streaming service, included for six months.”
That means you need to have one of these plans:
- 5G Do More
- 5G Start
- 5G Get More
- 5G Play More
- Welcome Unlimited
- One Unlimited for iPhone
- Get More Unlimited
- Do More Unlimited
- Play More Unlimited
- Verizon Plan Unlimited
- Go Unlimited
- Beyond Unlimited
- Above Unlimited
However, there’s an extra condition: the Disney Plus perk is no longer available to new customers, so you need to be an existing subscriber to one of these plans (and you can’t have already redeemed your six-month trial).
If you’re lucky and this all applies to you, you have until midnight on May 31, 2025 to enroll in Verizon’s Disney Plus plan. You can check Verizon’s website for more information.
Does Disney Plus offer a free trial?

No, Disney Plus doesn’t offer a free trial. Phone providers often offer free subscriptions for a limited period, but you can’t get a seven-day trial like you can with other platforms.
The reason for this is simple: Disney believes its service is popular and priced well enough that it doesn’t need to offer new subscribers a free trial.
In the words of a Disney spokesperson, “the service was set at an attractive price-to-value proposition that we believe delivers a compelling entertainment offering on its own.”
