NetflixBlack Mirror Season 7 has just dropped on Netflix, and if you want to watch it for free, you’ll need to fit some extremely specific criteria – but there is a way.
The seventh season of Charlie Brooker’s twisted sci-fi series has finally premiered, and it should be at the top of your watch list this weekend. It includes ‘Plaything’, which includes a connection to ‘Bandersnatch’, and a ‘USS Callister’ sequel with Cristin Milioti reprising her role.
The show has been streaming on Netflix since 2016. The first two seasons were once available to watch for free via Channel 4 in the UK and its on-demand service, but every episode is now exclusively on Netflix.
So, if you don’t have a Netflix subscription, you’re going to struggle to watch the new season of Black Mirror… but there may be a way.
How to watch Black Mirror for free
Eligible T-Mobile customers are entitled to a free Netflix subscription, meaning they could stream Black Mirror Season 7 (and anything else on the platform) for free.
There’s a few conditions. Firstly, this is only on offer to customers in the US, so you’re out of luck if you’re anywhere else.
Secondly, if you are eligible, you can only get access to Netflix… with ads.
Thirdly, as per the T-Mobile website, “you need to have two or more lines of any type of Go5G or Magenta plan, or you need to have at least one line of Go5G Next, Go5G Plus or Magenta MAX plan to be eligible for the Netflix ON US.”

“Discounts may be applied if you’d like to upgrade to another Netflix subscription, such as Netflix Standard or Netflix Premium,” it adds.
If this all applies to you, log into your T-Mobile account and simply add it to your add-ons. Also, if you don’t already have a Netflix account, “you’ll be prompted to create a Netflix account if you do not have one. This links to your T-Mobile account. T-Mobile will then pay your Netflix Standard with ads subscription.”
Sadly, Netflix doesn’t offer free trials, so this is your only option.
