What time is The Way Home Season 3 finale out?

Kat, Alice, and Del in The Way Home Season 3

Deep breaths people… it’s time to get some answers from Port Haven. The Way Home Season 3 finale has almost arrived, and here’s how you can watch.

Thanks to Episode 9, we know Casey is officially from the future (though in what capacity remains unknown), with teenage Colton genuinely not knowing Jacob’s real identity during his time in 1814.

He also didn’t originally enter the pond to find his missing brother, who we know disappeared at some point in 1965. The pond never worked for him again, likely because he broke the rules by slyly telling Elijah and Jacob the future of 1816.

Really, this is all just scratching the tip of the iceberg when it comes to answers we need, and now’s the time to get them. Here’s when you can tune into The Way Home Season 3 finale.

The Way Home Season 3 finale release time

The Way Home Season 3 finale – Episode 10, titled ‘If You Could Read My Mind’ – airs on the Hallmark Channel on March 7, 2025, at 9/8c.

The official episode synopsis reads “The three Landry women finally get answers to questions about the past, present and future; but a discovery will propel them to search for more.”

Let’s go over what we know so far. Colton had indeed met Jacob in the 1800s, pulling him out of a fire in 1816. Things between Kat and Thomas seem to be back on again after Elliot kissed Emma, and Noah and Alice’s breakup push her and Max together. Somewhere in the middle is Casey, now a confirmed time traveler from the future.

Del still has her own reasons for going nowhere near the pond, angry at the thought of Colton potentially keeping Jacob’s real whereabouts a secret his entire life. As we approach the finale of The Way Home, it seems nothing can be trusted.

How long is it?

Given all episodes clock in with a rough average, we can expect the Season 3 finale to be between 40-45 minutes long.

Alice in The Way Home Season 3

I know what you’re thinking – that’s nowhere near enough time to wrap up one season’s worth of mysteries, let alone three. So here’s where I’m going to have to hold your hand and tell you a hard truth: it’s highly likely we’re not getting all our answers this time.

Thankfully, we’ve got Season 4 finally renewed by Hallmark (yay!) meaning anything that doesn’t get answered now has a chance to be addressed another time. Also, this means it’s likely a few little cliffhangers have been set up ready in anticipation.

What to expect

Obviously, I’m not going to share any spoilers here. But what I can say is all four timelines come into play this time around, and you should probably keep your eye on 1999 in particular.

Colton in The Way Home

Don’t worry, none of this is entering spoiler territory. Collision theory has already been tipped as a likely way to end the show following one magazine’s printed synopsis for the upcoming finale. It reads “As Season 3 winds down, the past, present, and future are set to collide and trigger a massive twist in the time-travel adventures of Kat and the Landry women.”

Essentially, what they’ve done here is confirm the obvious. Collision theory is the idea that all timelines (and we’ve got four that have been explored since Season 1) will quite literally ‘collide’ to directly inform each other, or even merge into one.

I’m not going to give away just how accurate the theory is, but preview photos have already confirmed we’ll be heading back in time in different ways. Remember what we need for answers for too: the baby, the mystery couple, Colton’s later years, who sent the letters to name a few. Each of these is an issue from separate timelines… so strap in.

The Way Home Season 3 is currently airing on the Hallmark Channel. Catch up with who the mystery couple could be as well as the best Hallmark movies and best Hallmark TV shows of all time.
