The Monkey itself doesn’t have a post-credits scene, but a trailer for Osgood Perkins’ next movie Keeper plays at the end of the credits.

We saw the footage at an early screening of The Monkey, and it’s a brief teaser that features multiple women – seemingly in the same cabin location, but potentially in different eras – looking directly into camera, before each of them screams.

The footage ends with one woman saying “This place isn’t right for me,” alongside the title, Keeper.

Perkins shot the film between Longlegs and The Monkey, telling The Hollywood Reporter: “We did it fast and on the fly. We did it with a lot of trust and good faith.

“It’s an intimate, small, weird movie with, essentially, two characters. So we wrapped that movie on a Friday, and on the following Monday, we were in the offices of The Monkey.”
