Then there’s The Devil’s Plan, which debuted in 2023 and quickly became known as one of the best competition series in years thanks to its interesting challenges and the social dynamics involved in the gameplay.
Now, a host of celebrity and civilian contestants have been battling it out in Season 2, using brains over brawn in the aim of winning a huge cash prize, with Part 3 arriving on the streaming service very soon.

Episodes 10-12 of The Devil’s Plan Season 2 arrive on Netflix on May 20, 2025, at 12am PT / 3am ET.

How many episodes are there?
NetflixThere are 12 episodes in The Devil’s Plan Season 2, aka Death Room, altogether. This is the same as the first chapter.
However, it will have a slight difference: this time around, there are 14 contestants instead of 12, raising the stakes even higher as they compete to determine who is the brainiest.

What is the Death Room?
NetflixThe death room is within the prison wing’s residential area, and it’s where the prison matches take place.
After inviting the contestants to The Devil’s Plan, the mask-wearing host explains, “Half of the low-ranking players will go to the prison wing. There is a residential area and the death room, where the prison match will happen.”
This garners a shocked reaction from the cast, with YouTuber Tinno saying, “Death matches?” Single’s Inferno host Kyuhyun adds, “Instant elimination.”
And he’s right – with each prison match, there’s often an opportunity for the winner to bag a piece, and there’s always one elimination, bringing the remaining players one step closer to the cash prize.
