CTVSeason 2 of the romantic drama ended on a high note, and viewers are already eager for Sullivan’s Crossing Season 3. Luckily, there have been some huge updates.
The second chapter concluded on June 9, 2024, and Season 2 was quite the ride. Sully’s condition worsened, Cal and Maggie had their share of issues, and the campground readied for a storm.
All 10 episodes of Sullivan’s Crossing Season 2 were shot in scenic Nova Scotia, and the finale laid the groundwork for more intertwining storylines.
The cast and crew aren’t ready to leave the Virgin River dupe behind, and official word about the binge-worthy TV show‘s future has arrived.
Season 3 release date
Good news! Sullivan’s Crossing Season 3 will come to CTV on April 27, 2025. However, US fans will have to wait until May 7, 2025 to see new episodes.
The CWTime this around, we’ll get 10 episodes airing each Sunday on CTV. US fans can catch it on Wednesdays at 8pm EST on The CW. They can also be viewed on The CW app on demand.
Season 3 began filming in August 2024, wrapping up that November. March 2025 looked like the likeliest release window, though it’s now dropping two months later than expected.
For context, Season 1 was also released in March, back in 2023. Season 2 started production in September 2023, lasting for three months. New episodes arrived in April 2024 – which initially suggested a standard turnaround time of four months.
Who in the cast is returning?
Morgan Kohan, Chad Michael Murray, Tom Jackson, Andrea Menard, and Scott Patterson are all back for Season 3.
CTVAmalia Williamson, Lindura, and Dakota Taylor are also returning to the binge-worthy TV show in their respective roles.
There are some newcomers set to be introduced too. Kate Vernon appears as best-selling author Helen Culver, and Joel Oulette appears as Frank’s cousin Jacob Cranebear. Torri Higginson and John Ralston will have guest appearances as Cal’s mother Marissa and father Jed.

The most obvious plotline for Season 3 to pick up is whether Sully has survived the fire – but there’s also plenty to unpack in Maggie and Cal’s will-they-won’t-they relationship.
CTVShandon’s Diner exploded at the end of Season 2, with Sully still inside. But while he was definitely rescued, we’ve got no idea if he actually survived. If he didn’t… well, that’s going to be a short story. But if he did, we could see Sully shacked up in hospital for a while to come.
Maggie and Cal also need to deal with the problem of Andrew. Though it looks like the pair will go their separate ways, Andrew has undeniably caused a problem for Cal – but can the couple get things back on track?
