Mark in Invincible Season 3 Episode 7

Invincible Season 3 Episode 8 is arguably the most anticipated TV event of the week, so make sure you know exactly what time it’s dropping on Prime Video.

Last week’s Invincible ended with a jaw-dropping, long-awaited debut: Conquest (played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan), a Viltrumite soldier who’s Mark’s “last chance” to fulfill his duty to the empire.

“You don’t understand. All this… this is my fault. So the only thing I wanna do right now… is hit something as hard as I can,” Mark told him, and as they collided, it cut to the credits.

This week, Season 3 will come to an end with Episode 8 and Invincible vs Conquest, the show’s biggest fight ever. This is when it drops.

How many episodes are there?

Conquest in Invincible Season 3

There are eight episodes in Invincible Season 3. Yes, that means the third season ends this week.

Speaking in a featurette for Season 2, Kirkman explained: “I think that there’s so many pieces that have been put in place in Season 2 that we’re going to build on in Season 3 and so many different ways that we’re going to expand the show and push the show even further.

“We want every episode to feel like it’s a finale. Season 3 is an absolutely huge season with so many crazy things that you won’t expect. And where we leave things at the end of Season 3… oh my god, I cannot wait for people to see that stuff.”

Atom Eve in Invincible Season 3 Episode 8

Season 3 Episode 8 will adapt the Conquest fight from the Invincible comics. It spans across four issues (61-64) – and, more importantly, it’s the goriest fight in the series to date.

It’s unclear if it’ll go beyond the end of the fight, but its title may be a clue: ‘I Thought You’d Never Shut Up’ is a line from Issue #68, and specifically, it’s something Mark says to Dinosaurus.

Speaking to Dexerto before Episode 7’s release, Robert Kirkman teased: “They’re the biggest episodes we’ve done thus far, I think it’s very safe to say that, and we end on some pretty huge moments.

“Don’t think you’ve got it figured out. You may get something unexpected at the end. There’s probably going to be some surprises along the way for comic book fans and definitely some tweaks here and there.”
