The 2025 Academy Awards are being handed out this Sunday, March 2, 2025, so here’s details of when and where to watch the ceremony, plus how to stream all the Best Picture nominees.

The 97th Academy Awards feature the closest Oscar race in years, with multiple nominees in the running for Best Picture and Best Director, and the acting categories similarly wide open.

It’s also been an action-packed year when it comes to controversy, thanks to some offensive Tweets by Best Actress nominee Karla Sofia Gascón, a lack of intimacy co-ordinator on Anora, and the use of AI in The Brutalist, all of which make the 2025 Oscars a must-watch.

You can head here for a full list of Academy Award nominees, as well as our predictions. Or scroll down for details about the show itself.

Upsetting. Probably a bad idea.”
