From is one of the most popular and acclaimed horror shows of the moment, so here’s what we know about when the series will return, and how many seasons are planned.

From is a scary science fiction show that debuted on Epix in 2022, and has since gone from strength to strength at new home MGM+.

Revolving around a mysterious town that’s filled with secrets and won’t let visitors leave, it’s been lauded for the stellar From cast and terrifying From monsters.

The last episodes hit screens at the tail-end of 2024, so here’s what’s coming next plus when to expect From’s return.

How many seasons of From are there?

There has been three seasons of From, with principal photography currently underway on the fourth.

From Season 3 aired from September 22, 2024 to November 24, 2024, and while the show has an overarching Rotten Tomatoes score of 96%, S3 managed a perfect 100%.

You can find all three seasons of From streaming on MGM+, while Season 4 will hit sometime in 2026.

We don’t know when From will end

From fans believe the show will run for five seasons, but showrunner John Griffin has neither confirmed nor denied that plan.

However, when the show was renewed for Season 4, there were hints that the story is just getting going.

Here’s what Griffin had to say to Deadline about the future of the series: “With the culmination of Season 3 we have, in many ways, reached the end of the beginning. In Season 4, a new journey begins. The question is whether it will lead our characters home, or deeper into this unrelenting nightmare.”

He also told The Hollywood Reporter (as per the Radio Times) this of where From’s story is heading: “The mythology is our road map. But we’ve left ourselves very open to the organic nature of surprise.

“I won’t go into the whole metaphor, but I often think about this as a road trip where you know where you’re starting, you know where you’re ending, but you get to wander, get lost, get surprised, because you know what the structure of the trip looks like.”
