If you’ve managed to get tickets for The Fantastic Four: First Steps, you may already be considering which popcorn bucket you’ll pick up – and you’re in the right place.
It all started with Dune Part 2’s “wormussy” popcorn bucket. Now, every major release has a limited-edition vessel attached to it; even Snow White, an inarguable bomb, had multiple buckets, including a “popcorn cart” and special cups.
After relatively low-key efforts with Thunderbolts, Marvel is already going big (literally, as you’ll soon see) with its Fantastic Four merchandise. It’s already primed to be one of the biggest movies of the summer blockbuster season, with theater websites quickly crashing from the demand.
Two theater chains have revealed their F4 buckets, but a word of warning: they (probably) won’t be cheap.
Every Fantastic Four bucket so far
Galactus popcorn bucket from AMC Theatres

You’ll find the giant Galactus popcorn bucket in AMC Theatres before Fantastic Four’s release. It is a whopping 17 inches tall and 20 inches wide.
As per AMC’s website, it costs $79.95, making it one of the most expensive popcorn buckets ever released.
“The limited edition exclusive The Fantastic Four: First Steps Galactus LED Popcorn Bucket is a MASSIVE collectible, glowing bright with cosmic LED eyes! Featuring Galactus in epic detail, it’s perfect for Marvel fans. Light up movie nights and devour snacks like a world-eater,” it reads.
“Special Note About Shipping This Bucket Heads up! This bucket is BIG—like, really BIG. That means it needs a really BIG box to arrive safely. Because of this, shipping will cost a bit more than usual. Thanks for understanding!”
The small print clarifies that the vessel will also include a large traditional popcorn (the gourmet kind is excluded). That could mean the whole bundle costs around $45, so keep your eyes peeled for AMC to confirm its price.
H.E.R.B.I.E. concession vessel from AMC Theatres

This one isn’t just a popcorn bucket: the H.E.R.B.I.E. concession vessel “holds it all for you.” In other words, it’ll have slots for your soda, candy, and enough space for a large popcorn.
Once again, AMC hasn’t confirmed how much it’ll be, but considering it’ll include the soda, sweets, and popcorn, it’ll probably be at least $45 for the whole bundle.
Character tins and toppers from AMC Theatres
These aren’t quite as sophisticated as Galactus and H.E.R.B.I.E., but each Fantastic Four character will get their own popcorn tin at AMC Theatres, including Reed, Sue, Johnny, The Thing, Silver Surfer, and Galactus.
You can also pick up character totem cups of the core four, each styled like their respective character; The Thing cup is textured like his rocky exterior, while Johnny’s looks like fire. These won’t be as expensive as the other popcorn buckets, but no prices have been announced.
Fantasticar bucket from Regal

Regal Cinemas has only unveiled one vessel so far: the Fantasticar popcorn container, modeled on the Fantastic Four’s vehicle.
We have even fewer details about how much it’ll cost, when it’ll go on sale, and how much popcorn it’ll actually hold. The chain’s Lilo and Stitch bucket (shaped exactly like Stitch) currently costs $54.95 to buy from its online store, so prepare your wallet for a bit of a battering if you want to buy all of the buckets.
