Hulu/Family GuyBarstool Sports’ Dave Portnoy has responded after Family Guy featured him in an episode – but didn’t ask him to voice his own character.
Over the last few years, Barstool Sports CEO Dave Portnoy has changed the lives of pizza shop owners around the United States with his ‘One Bite Pizza Review’ videos.
He’s amassed over 1.4M subscribers on YouTube thanks to his near-daily reviews, and back in December 2024 saved one shop from closing down by giving the owner $60,000.
In fact, Portnoy’s reviews have become so popular that the Barstool CEO made a cameo in a March 2025 episode of Family Guy, but the influencer has hit out at the show for not asking him to voice his own character.

During the episode, Stewie and Chris opened up a pizza shop in the backyard of their home, and it quickly gained popularity in their town.
With a massive line, others posted about the pizza on social media. Of course, this caught the attention of Dave Portnoy, who came to the makeshift restaurant to try Stewie’s pizza.
Barstool quickly took to X to share a screenshot of the show, complete with the caption: “Dave Portnoy Makes A Cameo On Family Guy To Give Stewie/Chris A Pizza Review.”
The catch, though, is that it’s quite clear the voice behind Portnoy’s character isn’t actually the Barstool CEO himself. It’s unknown who voiced him in the episode, as IMDB doesn’t provide that information.
Portnoy himself hit out at the show in a post on TikTok where he also shared a clip of his appearance.

“I feel like if Family Guy was gonna cartoonize me and be a Meany Pants, they should have at least let me do my own voiceover,” he said.
Dave Portnoy’s pizza reviews have helped hundreds of pizza shops gain business over the years, with one in particular getting hundreds of customers within minutes of his video being posted back in February.
