The Daredevil: Born Again finale releases tonight, and it’s set to feature a team-up with The Punisher – so, make sure you know exactly what time Episode 9 drops.
Last week’s episode of Daredevil ended on a jaw-dropping cliffhanger. After Bullseye escaped prison, he sneaked into Kingpin’s ball and lined up the perfect shot to take him out for good.
However, Matt heard Dex loading his gun, and just as the sharpshooter pulled the trigger, he leaped in front of Fisk and took the bullet for him.
Will Fisk see Matt in a kinder light? Will Bullseye be caught again? And how will the finale involve Frank Castle? These questions will be answered soon when Daredevil: Born Again Episode 9 premieres on Disney Plus.
When is the Daredevil: Born Again finale out?

Daredevil: Born Again Episode 9 will be released at 6pm PT/9pm ET on Tuesday, April 15, 2025.
This will be the last time we’ll see the Man Without Fear for a while – but don’t worry, because Season 2 is already in production (and leaks are everywhere, so be careful on social media). This is when the finale drops in other time zones:
- 1pm New Zealand
- 8pm CT
- 10pm Brazil
- 1am UK (April 16)
- 2am CEST (April 16)
- 6:30am India Standard Time (April 16)
- 11:30am Australia (April 16)
How many episodes are there?

There are nine episodes in the first season of Daredevil: Born Again.
The project originally had 18 episodes (when it was under the purview of Matt Corman and Chris Ord). They exited the series, and Dario Scardapane (who worked on The Punisher) was brought in as the new showrunner with Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead as lead directors.
As part of the overhaul, the series was cut down to be more impactful. Speaking to the Phase Hero podcast, Marvel TV chief Brad Winderbaum explained: “Our first conceit for Daredevil was let’s try a longer format. Let’s take this character and this world of New York City and build an ensemble.
“Then we learned a lot of lessons doing it that way. So, because of a number of reasons, including the shutdowns due to the strikes, we were able to reassess the episodes and see what we had.
“It’s just the best nine episodes. It feels like it is a great kind of first season… I think it’s a series that can run for multiple seasons.”
What will happen in Daredevil: Born Again Episode 9?

All we know about Daredevil: Born Again Episode 9 is that it’ll feature a team-up with Daredevil and The Punisher, but it’s unclear why.
Footage of them fighting together has been included (albeit incredibly briefly) in trailers, and Frank looks a bit different, cleaner-shaven with a different haircut. It’s not been confirmed if Karen will show up again – but fans hope she’ll make an appearance.
It also appears we’ll get another ultra-violent scene with Kingpin. In the trailer, there’s a quick shot of Fisk wiping his face, and his hand is covered in blood. As he said, “sometimes chaos must reign.”
Whatever happens, it’ll tee up the second season. “It’s been great. We’ve been shooting a lot of crazy sequences,” executive producer Sana Amanat said.
“The crew is crushing it, and the action is nonstop. The backdrop is a little different. It’s still New York, but it’s a slightly different kind of New York.”
