Better Late Than Single fans recommend this underrated Netflix dating show next

Kang Ji-su in Better Late Than Single

If you’re looking for something to fill that Better Late Than Single shaped void in your life, then look no further – viewers have been sharing their recommendations of what to watch next, including a dating show you can watch on Netflix right now.

Better Late Than Single itself was pitched as an alternative to Single’s Inferno. Instead of the confident contestants we’re used to seeing in their search for love, this new TV show brings together singletons who have never dated before in their lives.

Only two couples were formed in the Better Late Than Single finale, but throughout the process, they had all learned to love themselves, while building up their confidence in the dating world (fan fave Noh Jae-yun has even found a partner in the outside world).

We still don’t know if Netflix will give Better Late Than Single Season 2 the greenlight, but until then, there’s another dating show that’s well worth your time.

Netflix shows to watch after Better Late Than Single

The hosts of Love After Divorce

Viewers of the hit dating show have recommended watching Love After Divorce, a reality series in which newly-divorced singletons live together and date in a bid to find the one.

Like Better Late Than Single, it leans into genuine connections and emotional growth rather than flashy drama, though there’s plenty of awkward tension too.

Although it might not be as big as some of the streaming service’s other shows like Single’s Inferno or Love is Blind, it’s built up a steady following since launching in 2021.

Seasons 1-3 are only available with English subs through less official means, but Season 4 is currently available to binge-watch in its entirety on Netflix. The show was suggested on Reddit, where one user asked what’s similar to Better Late Than Single.

“Really enjoying this show right now, specifically much more than Single’s Inferno because the cast feels much more genuine (less like they’re trying to just promote their business / get famous),” they wrote.

“I also like how it’s more mature aged versus teenage romance. Anyone have any recommendations for something similar?”

“Love After Divorce is a good one,” replied one, to which another agreed, “Co-sign. The US season on Netflix is great.”

Others recommended a different but equally binge-worthy reality series: Offline Love. This does what it says on the tin, showing 10 singletons in a new city as they search for the one without any of their digital devices to rely on.

Much like Better Late Than Single and Love After Divorce, you can stream all 10 episodes of Offline Love on Netflix now.
