Apple TV+Tonight’s the night, folks: the Severance Season 2 finale is hours away from dropping on Apple TV, and there’s three things you need to know before you watch Episode 10.
We waited three agonizing years for Severance to return after the “She’s alive!” cliffhanger. Now, 10 weeks later, the wait is about to begin for Season 3 (hopefully the gap will be shorter this time).
But first, we’ve got the finale – and there’s a lot it needs to answer. What’s going on with Cold Harbor, will Dylan leave Lumon, is Helly pregnant, and will Mark save Gemma before it’s too late?
Tonight, we’ll (hopefully) get some answers, which is why you need to be prepared before the finale drops.
3 things you need to know about the Severance Season 2 finale
Apple TV+Firstly, Severance Season 2 Episode 10 is considerably longer than every other episode; 76 minutes, to be exact.
That’s longer than some movies, so if you’re planning on staying up late wherever you are (or getting up early before work or school to watch it), make sure you leave enough time to watch the whole thing.
Secondly, we have good reason to believe it’ll be the most violent episode yet, so if you’re not good with blood, do your best to prepare yourself before you press play. All we know is that the final has been given an MA 15+ rating by the Australian Classification Board for “strong violence and blood and gore.”
For context, every other episode of Severance has been rated M for Mature in Australia – apart from Season 2 Episode 8, which earned an MA 15+ for “strong drug use.” The violence is also said to have a “strong impact”, so there may be one or two gruesome scenes involved.
Thirdly – and this is a big one – do not go on social media before you watch the finale. Severance spoilers will be everywhere on Friday (March 21); for example, the reveal that Helly was actually Helena in was shared across X/Twitter almost immediately after Episode 4 ended.
