ParamountThe big question of 1923 Season 2 is whether Alex (and baby) will make it safely to the Dutton Ranch, and if she gets there, one cast member has an idea of what’ll happen.
After Alex and Spencer were separated at the end of Season 1, all any Yellowstone fan wanted was for the husband and wife to get back together. Ideally, at the ranch in Montana.
Of course, thanks to some episode descriptions, it’s become clear that Alex’s journey will be a long one. And at the end of Season 2 Episode 1, she was only just setting off on her trip across the Atlantic to find the Duttons, and hopefully, Spencer too.
It’s a matter of if she gets there, not when. But if she does turn up at the Dutton Ranch, one member of the 1923 cast thinks she’ll be welcomed with open arms.
Michelle Randolph predicts Alex’s arrival in 1923
“I think they would welcome her,” Michelle Randolph (Liz) told Dexerto. “And I also think that the lifestyle that they live is quite lonely, like they’re in the middle of nowhere in Montana. That’s why her and Cara are so close, is because they have really only each other.
“So I think that if Alexandra becomes a part of their family in Montana, it would be nothing but joy for Elizabeth to have someone else to talk to.”
ParamountAlex being welcomed into the family no questions asked is an ideal, but the reality may not be so simple. And even then, Spencer still has to find his way back home.
In the Yellowstone prequel, Liz hasn’t ever met Spencer either, since he’s been living in Africa for years. If he also makes a return, she predicts Liz’s response will be one of curiosity.
“She’s heard so many stories, and they talk about him so much that I think she’s probably just so curious to to understand who this Spencer is,” she said.
1923 Season 2 Episode 2 premieres on March 2 on Paramount+.
