Instagram: KodiyakRedd, Collier County Sheriff's OfficeKodiyakRedd, known as one half of the Island Boys, has been arrested on drug charges and remains in Florida jail.
Twin brothers Flyysoulja and KodiyakRedd, also known as the Island Boys, went viral on TikTok back in 2021 thanks to their song ‘I’m an Island Boy’ and hundreds of videos featuring the two.
After releasing the music video for their song, the Island Boys found their way over to Kick for near-constant live streams and collaborations with other streamers, including Jack Doherty. However, many people spoke out against Kick for platforming the twin brothers.
On February 23, 2025, KodiyakRedd was arrested in Naples, Florida, and remains in custody for alleged gun and drug offenses.
Island Boy arrested on alleged drug possession
KodiyakRedd, whose real name is Frank Venegas, was arrested by the Collier County Sheriff’s Office and booked into jail.
According to the department’s arrest records, Venegas is facing charges of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and possession, sale, or delivery of a firearm with a serial number altered or removed.
Florida Law firm RoelkeLaw states that possession of a controlled substance without a prescription in the state is considered a third-degree felony, which is punishable with up to five years in prison or a fine up to $5,000.
Instagram: KodiyakReddIn May 2024, KodiyakRedd was arrested in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, for reckless driving and “other offenses.” According to the report, Redd was hit with charges of operating without a valid driver’s license, false ID, and reckless driving.
Before being taken to the local jail, Redd shared in an Instagram Stories post that he was “going to jail for no f**kin reason.” Just weeks later, Venegas was accused of attempting to impersonate his brother, Alex, during that traffic stop.
