RTX 4070 Super price
The Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Super is available for $599. This confirmed Moore’s Law is Dead claims that the RTX 4070 Super would be competitively priced. This is a part of a more aggressive pricing strategy for the lineup of GPUs, as leaker Moore’s Law is Dead revealed.
This price is excellent and makes it incredibly attractive to those looking for an RTX 20-series upgrade or earlier.
The other two cards released as part of the 40 Super line, the RTX 4080 Super and RTX 4070 Ti Super, will replace the standard editions in the product line, but this is not the case for the RTX 4070 Super. Instead, the standard RTX 4070 will sit alongside the RTX 4070 Super in the product lineup, with the older card offering a budget option for PC builders.

RTX 4070 Super release date
Nvidia’s RTX 4070 Super was January 17, 2024. This confirmed prior rumors from Board Channels, a forum for Nvidia’s hardware partners, suggesting that the 40 Super series of cards will be released in January, with the 4070 Super being first in line.
This was an unusual move for Nvidia, which usually launches the most powerful hardware first. All three cards have now been launched. The 4070 Super was first, followed by the 4070 Ti Super and RTX 4080 Super. All graphics cards were released before the end of January.
The GPU was announced at CES, during Nvidia’s keynote on January 8, 2024.

The RTX 4070 Super is using Nvidia’s AD104-350 chip. But, most notably, it boosts the CUDA core count of the GPU up from 5888 on the original RTX 4070, all the way up to 7168, which is much closer to the original RTX 4070 Ti.
The GPU bridges the gap between the two cards but falls just slightly short of the performance of an RTX 4070 Ti.
Originally, leaker Kopite7Kimi made a handful of educated guesses at the possible specs for the 40 Super series is from leaker Kopite7Kimi who revealed on Twitter that the RTX 4070 Super is expected to come equipped with either the AD103-275 die or AD102-175. We can now confirm it is using the AD104-350-A1 die.
RTX 4070 Super TGP
The RTX 4070 Super possesses a 220W TGP, which is 20W higher than the original RTX 4070, contrary to estimates from leaker Kopite7Kimi who provided leaked information regarding the power needs of the 4070 Super. The GPU requires around 20W of power when compared to its predecessor and also sports a 12VHPWR connector.
