Super Smash Bros Ultimate player Scott ‘Biscotto’ Riccardi has earned more money than any Smasher has in tournaments thanks to his dominant Jeopardy run.

For 16 days, New Jersey Bayonetta main Biscotto has emerged victorious on the popular game show Jeopardy.

Biscotto isn’t the most skilled Smash player in New Jersey, not even being part of the state’s Power Rankings. But where he lacks in fighting game prowess, he more than makes up for with his intelligence.

As of July 25, Riccardi has made a killing playing Jeopardy. Though his run has ended after 16 days of Jeopardy, he’s walking away from the show with more money than any Smash player has ever made playing competitively.

Although Biscotto wasn’t too bad at Smash, either.

Smash player dominates Jeopardy

Biscotto’s Jeopardy run has brought the tristate region together, with fans gathering to watch his run as the reigning champ.

As of July 25, Riccardi’s total earnings during his 16-day run hit $455,000.

That’s not all: By winning 10 games, he managed to cement himself as one of the show’s “super champions” and has dwarfed the earnings of every other Smash pro.

For instance, the Smash Ultimate GOAT, MkLeo, has made $168,669 from winning SSBU events, according to Liquipedia. His total earnings from multiple Smash games, meanwhile, are just shy of $300K at approximately $297,476. Tweek, who only recently retired, is second on the all-time Ultimate earnings list with $110,756.

On the Melee side, he even managed to eclipse Team Liquid Hungrybox’s all-time earnings of $453,714. His winnings in a little over 2 weeks of Jeopardy have now eclipsed over a decade of work from Hbox across some of the greatest storylines and rivalries in esports history.

His run came to an end on July 25, losing to Jonathan Hugendubler, a trivia host from Baltimore, Maryland in the season finale.

Biscotto isn’t the only Smash player to do big things outside of the Nintendo platform fighter. In 2022, Young Link main Zooey Zephyr was elected to the Montana House of Representatives.
