The Sims 4 players have encountered a “disturbing” bug that makes children look pregnant after the latest update.
The Sims 4 has had a plethora of different bugs throughout the years, from Sims breaking the fourth wall whenever you move the camera to their bodies appearing stretched like straight-up nightmare fuel. The list goes on.
While these chaotic glitches aren’t exactly new to the community, nothing could have prepared players for what happened next after the February 25 update dropped.
This update has just brought back burglars after all these years, and while it’s a welcome addition – players have been encountering one particular bug that’s really disturbing.
Incredibly disturbing Sims 4 bug makes children look pregnant
Since the update dropped, many players have reported that their child Sims suddenly have pregnant bellies, taking the issue to social media.
“Umm guys… My kid is pregnant…” one user wrote in a Reddit thread, sharing an image of a child Sim walking with a baby bump.
A separate thread has also shared a similar thing, with the user saying: “Since today’s patch, all the male children in my game have pregnant bellies.” Already, this discovery has left many players terrified.
“Wtf? No, absolutely not. There’s zero excuse for this being in the game,” commented one user.
A different user wrote: “This makes me super uncomfortable.”
“This is even more disturbing than that incest glitch wtf,” one chimed in.
While some are now reluctant to open their save files, it appears that these young Sims aren’t actually pregnant, though, as it’s more of a visual glitch.
One user mentioned that they think the overall bug is caused by the game “mixing up adult and child body presets somehow.”
“One in my save is very muscular suddenly, and I saw another one with the classic beer belly + narrow shoulder combo. Really hope they fix it soon,” they added.
Meanwhile, some users in the comments suggested that changing the body type by going to CAS fixed the issue for them. Either way, a lot of players have hoped this will be fixed soon.
