Pokemon Go Might and Mastery season: Dates, Dynamax & Gigantamax debuts, bonuses, more

Niantic confirmed that Pokemon Go‘s new season is called Might and Mastery and will focus on fighting-type creatures. Here is everything players can expect, from debuts to rotations and new bonuses.
As in all seasons, Might and Mastery will infuse Pokemon Go with new creatures in all of their forms, including Dynamax and Gigantamax, as well as interesting events, bonuses, rewards, and so much more fun for trainers to enjoy.
This time around, the season will focus on Fighting-type Pokemon, with Urshifu and Machamp being the main focus, as well as the Legendary Beasts Raikou, Entei, and Suicune. Check out all the details of the Might and Mastery season so you don’t miss a beat.
Pokemon Go Might and Mastery season: Dates & time
The Might and Mastery season will run from Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at 10:00 AM until Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 10:00 AM local time.
This follows directly from the Dual Destiny season, which introduced new Dynamax and Gigantamax forms, as well as the recent debut of both Legendaries Black & White Kyurem.
Kubfu & Urshifu debut
The Might and Mastery season is adding more highly anticipated Pokemon to Niantic’s game as Gen 8 Legendaries Kubfu and its evolution, Urshifu, will be debuting.
Moreover, both Urshifu forms – Single Strike and Rapid Strike – will be available, so players can choose the one they like best.
Additionally, more Galar Pokemon will be added, including Nickit and Thievul.
Dynamax Urshifu & Legendary Beasts debut
More enormous Pokemon are coming to the game during this season, as players will be able to get both Urshifu variations in their Dynamax forms.
The Legendary Beasts – Raikou, Entei, and Suicune – will also appear as Dynamax Pokemon, so players will have a lot to hunt for.

Gigantamax Machamp debut
As in the latest seasons, there will also be a Gigantamax debut, with Machamp getting this special form in 6-Star Max Battles.
Previously, Gigantamax Kingler and Gigantamax Lapras were added to the game with their own special Max Battle Days, so the same may happen with Gigantamax Machamp.
Shiny Charcadet
For the first time in Pokemon Go, Shiny Charcadet will appear, starting March 5, 2025, at 10:00 AM local time.
Charcadet is available through 10km Eggs as well as Research Breakthroughs in this season, and this addition means players will also be able to get Shiny Armarouge and Shiny Ceruledge, too.

Starting March 5, 2025, at 10:00 AM until June 3, 2025, at 9:59 AM local time, players will be able to claim the Might and Mastery Special Research to encounter Dynamax Kubfu and more.
