Kleavor made its debut in Pokemon Go through the Kleavor Raid Day event back in April of 2023, and since then, it has come and gone only in 3-Star Raids, as it has not been readily available in the wild.
If you already managed to catch this Hisuian Pokemon or are planning to do so during its comeback at this year’s Bug Out event, here are the best movesets you can teach this tough creature in PvP and Raids.
Best moveset for PvP
In Pokemon Go, Kleavor’s best PvP moveset is Quick Attack as the Fast Move and X-Scissor as the Charged Move.
With Kleavor’s current move pool, it will not be making any waves in competitive PvP content anytime soon. That being said, Quick Attack is a fast charge move, so go with that one to access your Charged Moves sooner.
The first Charged Move slot should go to X-Scissor. It benefits from STAB, and it’s cheap and fast. That means you can use it to bait your opponent’s shields, so then you can finish them off with a stronger attack.
Your secondary Charged Move – if you can afford one – should be Stone Edge, as it benefits from STAB and is an outstanding nuke.

Kleavor’s best moveset for Raid content is Quick Attack as the Fast Move and Rock Slide as the Charged Move.
Both Air Slash and Quick Attack are not outstanding Fast Moves, and they don’t have good synergy with the Charged Moves available. However, the latter provides higher overall DPS, so go with that one.
As for the Charged Move, use Rock Slide, as it is the best option Kleavor has to offer, thanks to its Damage output and Energy cost.
It’s worth mentioning that while Kleavor can fare slightly better in Raid and Gym content, there are plenty of more optimal options available to fill its niche. Perhaps when Kleavor gets better move options, it will find its footing in the game’s overall content.
