While the original Samurott introduced in Black & White was a Water-type Pokemon available as a starter, an ancient version was introduced in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. However, Hisuian Samurott is a Water/Dark-type creature with a jagged horn that befits its new evil typing.
Even though they belong to the same family, in Niantic’s game, Oshawott cannot be evolved into Hisuian Samurott. But fret not, as it is currently appearing in 3-Star Raid battles as part of the Final Strike: Go Battle Week event, and you can get it there. As mentioned above, Hisuian Samurott is a dual Water/Dark-type Pokemon, so it’s weak against Bug, Electric, Fairy, Fighting, and Grass-type moves. This means players will have plenty of options to pick from to build the perfect team to defeat the Hisuian creature.
On the other hand, those going against it should remember that it can resist Dark, Fire, Ghost, Ice, Steel, Water, and Psychic-type attacks. Avoid using those moves during the encounter, as they won’t deal much damage and will put you in danger of being KOed.

How to get Hisuian Samurott in Pokemon Go
Unlike some other region variants, Hisuian Samurott cannot be evolved from regular Samurott’s previous stages, Oshawott and Dewott.
The only way players can add Hisuian Samurott to their Pokemon Go Pokedex is to challenge and defeat it in 3-Star Raid battles. Then, attempt a catch with the Premier Balls you’re given after the encounter. The number of balls you get will depend on your battling performance, though.
As part of the Might and Mastery season final days, Hisuian Samurott will be featured as a Raid boss during the Final Strike: Go Battle Week event, which will run from May 21, 2025, until May 27, 2025.

How to evolve Oshawott into Dewott and Hisuian Samurott

However, there’s no way to evolve Oshawott and Dewott into Hisuian Samurott. That’s why the only way to obtain it is through battling.
This “rule” applies to other hisuian variants like Hisuian Typhlosion and Hisuian Decidueye.
