Mega Evolutions are officially back in Pokemon Legends Z-A, and they’re bringing some serious firepower. From returning fan-favorites to brand-new Megas making their debut, here’s every confirmed Mega Evolution coming to the Kalos-based adventure.
Since the first reveal trailer dropped, the rumor mill hasn’t stopped churning for Pokemon Legends Z-A, with players speculating about brand new Pokemon and regional forms. But all that is still very much up in the air.
What has been confirmed, though, is the triumphant return of Mega Evolutions. Legends Z-A is bringing back this fan-favorite mechanic in full force, with classic Megas and brand-new forms expected to take the spotlight in this new adventure.
All Legends Z-A Mega Evolutions confirmed
Here are all the Mega Evolutions that have been seen in the Pokemon Legends Z-A trailers so far, including the brand new Mega Dragonite!
NUMBER | POKEMON | TYPE | GEN |
---|---|---|---|
#0006 | Mega Charizard X ![]() | Fire/Dragon | Gen 1 |
Missing Mega Evolutions
Out of the 49 Mega Evolutions available in the franchise (including the newest Mega Dragonite), 22 have been seen in the different game trailers. That means, there are still 27 Mega Evolutions missing in Legends Z-A – and that’s just counting the ones we know.
NUMBER | POKEMON | TYPE | GEN |
---|---|---|---|
#0003 | Mega Venusaur ![]() | Grass/Poison | Gen 1 |
Some of the regular forms of these Mega Evolutions have appeared in the game’s trailers; however, we haven’t seen their Mega Evolved variations.
This means it is very likely that Mega Beedrill, Mega Pidgeot, Mega Pinsir, Mega Heracross, Mega Houndoom, Mega Camerupt, and Mega Abomasnow will make an appearance in Pokemon Legends Z-A.
Leaked Mega Evolutions
If you’re trying to stay spoiler-free ahead of Pokemon Legends Z-A, you might want to mute a few keywords because leaks, rumors, and wild speculation surrounding 27 new Mega Evolutions are flooding social media.
While the following list is based on rumors, they were right about Dragonite, as its new Mega Evolved form was leaked four months ago.
Note: Pokemon marked with an ‘*’ have been confirmed.
Clefable | Scolipede | Malamar |
Starmie | Excadrill | Barbaracle |
Victreebel | Eelektross | Dragalge |
