Fans of the Alola region’s Guardian Deities are in luck, as they’ve been reappearing in Niantic’s game one at a time. The last one to return is Tapu Bulu, the dual Grass/Fairy Legendary.
While finding it isn’t hard, players will want to know if there’s a chance that while hunting for Tapu Bulu in Pokemon Go, they can come across a Shiny one, as the only thing better than a Legendary is a Shiny Legendary.

How to get Tapu Bulu in Pokemon Go
Like all Legendaries, Tapu Bulu can only be obtained through Raid battles in Pokemon Go. This means trainers will have to challenge and defeat it first to then attempt a catch with the Premier Balls given – the amount they get will depend on their battling performance.
Those after their first Tapu Bulu, a Shiny or one with perfect IVs can fight the Guardian Deity from May 25, 2025, until June 3, 2025, as it will return to the game as a Raid boss for the end of the Might and Mastery season with its signature Charged Move, Nature’s Madness.
DEXERTOAdditionally, it will be the center of a Raid Hour on May 28, 2025, from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM local time.
When challenging this Legendary, try to use Golden Razz Berries and land Excellent Curveball Throws to increase your chances of catching it.
