Overwatch 2’s Season 15 has gone live, which means that players can finally get their hands on the different hero perks that were showcased during the Spotlight event, new Battle Pass skins, and even enjoy the return of the long-awaited loot boxes.
Though the season has just begun, things are already looking exciting as devs have also introduced new cosmetics players can obtain for free.
Currently, the Rainy Day Legendary Mei skin, which features her rocking a bright-colored raincoat with frog accessories, is up for grabs—and if you’d like to add it to your collection, here’s everything you need to know to unlock it.
Overwatch 2 Twitch Drops: How to unlock Rainy Day Mei Legendary skin
You’ll have to watch Twitch streams in the Overwatch 2 category for 12 hours to unlock the Rainy Day Mei skin. This cosmetic is part of the Season 15 Twitch Drops available from today until March 9, 2025, so you’ll have time until then to get it.
Before you hit that 12-hour mark, though, you’ll also be able to earn other freebies related to the skin. Here’s a list of all the rewards and their minimum watch time to obtain them:
- Watch 2 hours: Mei Froggy avatar player icon
- Watch 4 hours: Rainy Day Mei Snowball spray
- Watch 6 hours: Rainy Day Mei victory pose
- Watch 8 hours: Rainy Stroll Mei emote
- Watch 12 hours: Rainy Day Mei skin
As always, as you tune in to the streams, you can check the progress of your reward by clicking on your icon on the top right and selecting the “Drops and Rewards” tab.
How to connect your Battle.net account to earn Twitch Drops
For all these rewards to show up in the game, it’s worth noting that you’ll have to link both your Battle.net and Twitch accounts first. In case you haven’t done already, all you have to do is follow the steps below:
- Login to your account via the Battle.net site.
- Select Connections on the left tab.
- Scroll down until you find Twitch, and click the “+Connect” option.
- Follow the rest of the instructions.
