Several MLB The Show 25 content creators got their hands on the game early and shared positive first impressions, but players didn’t buy their sincerity.

After months of waiting, MLB The Show 25 finally launches on March 14 if you pre-ordered the Digital Deluxe edition. However, San Diego Studio also invited some streamers to test the game early and provide feedback.

In addition, those content creators have review copies of the game and can play the game even earlier than the early access period. They are free to share early gameplay footage and provide first impressions without giving too much away.

That didn’t stop DaddyDimmu from revealing that the Legends trailer left out a few new additions, which excited players. Yet, after positive reviews flooded in, players began to doubt their authenticity.

Scann explained, “As someone who has gotten paid by SDS before, people do NOT get paid to give a positive opinion about MLB The Show. Many of us who’ve gotten to know them are the literal die-hards of the game.”

“(If the game sucks, I’m still gonna be vocal bout that shit) We didn’t get paid,” DaddyDimmu added. “They did fly us out there pay for our hotel, but shit man, sometimes ppl be excited, I’m excited shit we got a lot of new dudes in the game.”

In contrast, players lucky enough to test the game early revealed that San Diego Studio wants them to be honest.

“They specifically want us to critic the game as well also,” Shelfy claimed. “They just want us to be mature about it (this is where folks struggle).”

We won’t know how good this year’s installment is until the official release. But based on word of mouth and all of the new features revealed so far, it’s shaping up to be a great season for baseball fans.
