A Marvel Rivals leaker has uncovered evidence of two new maps, both of which indicate there may be more X-Men content in the works.
The hero shooter’s roster is already chock-full of characters associated with the X-Men, including Magneto, Storm, Wolverine, and Psylocke.
Leakers have claimed other mutants like Cyclops and Jean Grey will eventually join Marvel Rivals, too. Maps constitute the only area of the experience that lacks an X-Men theme of some kind.
Players can duke it out with each other in locales inspired by Wakanda, Yggsgard, and Tokyo 2099, and now there’s reason to believe more iconic locations will eventually be represented as well.
Marvel Rivals leaks suggest X-Men maps are on the way
Dataminer X0XLEAK has uncovered hints about two potential maps in the game files for Marvel Rivals. One tag directly mentions Mojo World, while the second names the locale known as the Savage Land.
According to the leaker, details about both are “subject to change,” so players should take this information with a grain of salt for the time being.
Marvel Rivals players in the comments of both posts are convinced this means more content centered around the X-Men is in the works at NetEase.
“Rogue Savage Land skin coming,” one person wrote; meanwhile, another posited, “the X-Men are definitely coming in Season 2.”
The Savage Land and Mojo World have deep ties to the mutants in the comics and other media. In fact, the Rogue: The Savage Land comic run began in January 2025, and tasks the titular hero with braving the wilds of a prehistoric land filled with dinosaurs and mutates.
Meanwhile, the alien planet Mojo World takes place in another dimension where televised entertainment matters above all else. Disney+ viewers may remember seeing the world and its villainous leader, Mojo, in the ‘Motendo/Lifedeath, Part 1’ episode of X-Men ’97.
If and when these places will actually appear in Marvel Rivals remains to be seen, but NetEase has plenty of X-Men material to pull from for inspiration.
