After several hints and teasers, Season 3 has finally gone live, bringing new Team Up abilities, Battle Pass skins, and Phoenix, a Duelist capable of decimating enemies when they are grouped together.
As usual, a new season isn’t complete without an event to celebrate its launch. With summer being just around the corner, it’s only fitting that devs would add an event that fits the occasion.
The Summer Special Event brings fans the long-awaited swimsuit skins for some characters, along with additional rewards. So, if you’d like to snatch them all while they’re around, we’ve laid out all the details for you below.
Marvel Rivals Summer Special Event start and end dates
netease / marvelThe Summer Special Event runs from July 18, 2025 and it will be available until August 15, 2025.
While the event is live, you’ll be able to progress through a new event pass. Similar to the regular Battle Pass, this comes with the free and Premium tier, each having their own set of rewards in their respective tracks.
How to get the Summer Special Event swimsuit skins
One of the main highlights of the Summer Special Event is the new lineup of swimsuit skins for Thor, Luna Snow, The Thing, Pyslocke, and Loki based on the designs featured in the Marvel Swimsuit Special: Friends, Foes & Rivals comic.

All Summer Special Event Pass rewards
As mentioned above, the Event Pass has two reward tracks, with the Premium one requiring you to pay for it just like buying a regular pass. If you’re not a fan of spending money, however, it’s worth noting that the free track is also available for everyone. Though it doesn’t feature as many rewards.
